A focus on catering for everybody and every body is very important to High Tide Fitness. There's classes for beginners, classes for fitness fanatics who want to go hell for leather, and some sessions have both a high-intensity cardio option as well as low-impact for those who don't want to go too hard - such at those just starting a weight loss regime or those recovering from injury. There's 'boot camp' to help members toughen up but without the yelling, boxing for fitness, strength training, one-on-one personal training and much more, some classes being very pram-friendly for mums looking for extra fitness to keep up with the kids! Many High Tide Fitness members not only exercise together at the beaches, but also compete together in local races like the Bay to Bay Fun Run, and events like the Tough Bloke Challenge, the Mud Run and the innaugural Warrior Dash. At the first Valley Stampede in 2011, High Tide members were also seen providing 'gladiators' for one of the obstacles! If you need to toughen up for events like these, training at High Tide Fitness will help you over the line! High Tide Fitness also organises challenge days where other organisations like local footy teams are invited to come along as a group and join in with the regulars. Being part of High Tide Fitness means more than belonging to a fitness club. Numerous social activities and get-togethers are organised throughout the year, and community functions are often held to help raise money for community organisations and charties. Being central to The Entrance, Long Jetty, Bateau Bay, Shelly Beach and surrounds, being part of the community is very important. After-workout coffees at the Toowoon Bay Cafe is as much a part of a session as the sweating! Come along and be part of the fun and friendly fitness at High Tide Fitness today.
